“We came across this restaurant via Google reviews, it is located close to the busy Elephant and Castle station. We met lovely staff, very welcoming and hardworking. Lovely view standing on the balcony. We ordered a plate of suya, poundo and egusi with jollof rice/plantain and pieces of beef, fish and smokey turkey. We had this with bottles of super malt, coke and fanta. The portions were great :), the egusi was very lovely and the poundo was fluffy/soft, just the way we like it. Well done team.“

“I’ve walked past this place every day for a year, always noticing it being cleaned early in the mornings — which I took as a good sign. On a hot day, my mum and I finally decided to step inside, and I’m so glad we did. The atmosphere was amazing, and the staff (as well as the people in the pub) were so nice and friendly.“

“Enjoyed my visit to the King's Head. Arriving late in the area they squeezed me in for some food 5 mins before the kitchen closed. I really appreciated it after a long day! It was pub quiz night and it was a lot of fun listening to the rounds. Service was really quick and the fish and chips was really good. All to easy to end up with a dry fish these days but my piece of haddock was perfectly cooked, with lovely crispy batter. Great chips.

The interior of the pub is quite charming as well. I'll definitely visit again if I'm in the Earls Court area.“

“I had a fantastic birthday meal tonight at Noir D’or with my son and grandson. Delicious dramatic cocktails were the highlight of the evening. The food was delicious served by very attentive friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble for them, every need was attended to promptly with a smile. When my grandson finished his chips he was without hesitation given another bowl of chips and extra ketchup which he loves. The desserts were something else, definitely worth getting, the plant pot tiramisu was delicious and my grandson loved his massive portion of sticky toffee pudding with lots of toffee sauce the perfect end to an amazing meal. Thank you to all the staff especially the Maitre’D who certainly knows how to entertain his customers.“
